Yukta Singh hails from the scenic landscapes of Himachal, India. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal. During her Master's research, she worked under the guidance of Prof. Nitin T. Patil, focusing on the 1,2-difunctionalization of alkynes using gold catalysis.      

            Outside the lab, Yukta enjoys dancing, playing football and cooking for her family and friends - which now includes the Lovinger group!
